You can choose from 96 locations across Dartmoor by clicking on points on a map or choosing from an alphabetical list. Your position is indicated on the map by the white dot.
Once at a location you can turn 360° around you just by clicking and dragging the mouse in the image. You can zoom in and out by pressing SHIFT and CONTROL on the keyboard.
As you roll the mouse pointer over locations in the image, such as tors or hills, their name, grid reference and altitude will appear below the image.
The interface also features a direction pointer which moves around as you do, informing you which way you are facing.
The amazing feature from which Landscape Leaps gets it's name; leaping from one location to another. When you see the 'Leap Icon' appear as you roll over a location in the image, you can click on that location to leap to it. The new location automatically faces your previous position.
Landscape Leaps has an additional Full Screen mode. Featuring no visible interface at all, the entire screen displays the panoramic images. You can still pan and zoom and click on locations to leap to them.
As there is no interface you can access any location in no more than 3 key presses with the included keyboard shortcut map.
Landscape Leaps has many extra features that make it a real pleasure to use.
